At the international Toy Fair Nuremberg Hape seized the oppourtunity to inform the press at the Press Preview that it has snapped up the brand and production rights and patents for the Quadrilla marble run. "This move marks the return of the much-loved marble run to the Hape family." states Peter Handstein, president and company founder.
The manufacturor located in Ningbo, China held the production and distribution rights for the product between 2005-2009. Hape international is one of the world's biggest manufacturers of wooden toys made from sustainable materials. The entire toy range reflects a deep sense of creativity and is environmentally friendly. Every product meets the stringent international quality and safety standards. However, the innovative design and high quality conceal a more deep-rooted ethos: "Children are our future. We want our toys to present them with a world of possibilities rather than one filled with problems."
As a result Handstein is all the more delighted that cooperation with marble run inventor Wilfred Braun is set to continue. "We are very happy that Wilfred Braun will be involved in the development of new products," says Handstein. "Quadrilla fits perfectly within our product portfolio. Wilfred's philosophy is to create 'intelligent games with wood' is one we also share."
